Program: Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory Tour

IEEE, ASHRAE, and AEE Chapter members and friends are cordially invited on a tour of Fermilab, www.fnal.gov, a World-Class High Energy Physics Laboratory, which is funded by U.S. Department of Energy. The tour will include an overview of the exciting activities that are currently taking place at the laboratory. 

The tour starts on Thursday, May 24, 2007, at 7:00 pm in first floor conference room of Wilson Hall.  Steve Krstulovich, Fermilab, will welcome you to the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and introduce the people giving the tour. 

After the tour of the Fermilab, there is an optional dinner at Country House Restaurant, www.burgerone.com/geneva/, located at 2095 S. Kirk Road, Geneva, IL 60134, (630) 208-8181. The restaurant is located north of Fermilab at the NE corner of Kirk Road and S. Fabyan Parkway.

Fermilab is located about one mile north of I-88 at the Farnsworth Exit (See local map www.fnal.gov/pub/visiting/map/site.html).  Visitors should enter and leave Fermilab using the west gate on Kirk Road at Pine Street (look for the steel arch at the entrance) www.fnal.gov/pub/visiting/hours/areamap.gif.
