John Kutsch, Executive Director, Thorium Energy Alliance, will talk about policy, business, research discoveries and technology on Abundant, Safe, Clean Energy, which could take billions of people "out of poverty," and Rare Earth Elements, which are critically to the World’s trillion-dollar high-tech consumer, industrial, and national defense Electronics Markets.

Thorium Energy Alliance is the largest, oldest, most influential organization that advocates and teaches people about the opportunities of Thorium Energy and Materials, Molten Salt Reactors and Rare Earth.

John will be discussing the economic opportunities for creating jobs in Illinois. House (H.R. 4883) and Senate (S.R. 2006) bills, which are both titled “The National Rare Earth Cooperative Act" (NRECA), will create a privately funded multi-national rare earth cooperative between the United States & Japan, the European Union and Canada.

As part of NRECA, Thorium related materials will be safely stored by a multi-national corporation that will develop commercial uses for Thorium and Thorium energy systems. The Thorium Energy Corporation will seek out direct investment from sovereign entities (International Atomic Energy Agency member states).

People, who are interested in in taking advantage of these opportunities, are invited to attend the 7th "Future of Energy" Thorium Energy Alliance Conference that is being held this year on June 3rd & 4th, 2015 in Palo Alto, California. For more information, please visit http://energyfromthorium.com/ and www.thoriumenergyalliance.com/.

Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner has been asked if he would support building a multibillion dollar manufacturing facility to assemble hundreds of Clean Power Plants that would employ an estimated 50,000 people in Illinois, 50,000 people in other states, and millions of support contractor employees.

To make reservations and receive one Professional Development Hour (PDH), please RSVP to Sumit Ray, AEE Chicago Chapter Vice President sumitray@uchicago.edu no later than Wednesday, March 18, 2015.
